Casual Remarks is a project co-created by Julie Herrmann and Lucy McDonald, emerging from their summer as Part-Time, Temporary employees at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Virgil Abloh: “Figures of Speech” exhibition. Inspired by Abloh’s infamous “Question Everything” flag, Casual Remarks is a direct response to “Figures of Speech” through questions raised by visitors and staff alike. On February 21, 2020 Herrmann and McDonald will lead you in a One Night Only™️ experiential ceremony that embodies the tortured spirits of temporary museum professionals past, present, and future.
