Love Letters to the Lake

Dear Friend, Please join us at the North Pole, 1600 W Sherwin Ave on Saturday August 24th at 6:30 pm as a participant in a collaborative performance and flag raising ceremony, "Love Letters to the Lake". We will walk to the beach at 7pm, so please wear appropriate shoes. “Love Letters to the Lake” is an exercise in extending mindfulness and gratitude through a romantic gesture to the lake along which we’ve built our lives; she is a provider, a haven, a powerful force of nature. The goal of this collaborative performance is to carve out time and space for public moments of collective vulnerability and sentimentality. You need only bring yourself and your unique association to Lake Michigan. Thanks and Love, Emily
